Drew Peterson hit a 3-pointer with 2.4 seconds left Tuesday night as the Maine Celtics edged the Motor City Cruise 107-104 in an NBA G League game at Wayne City Fieldhouse in Detroit.
Peterson finished with a team-high 18 points to lead six players in double figures.
Maine, which had its eight-game winning streak snapped on Sunday, has won 9 of 10.
James Banks III had 13 points for the Celtics, Hason Ward and Jay Scrubb each had 12, Tristan Enaruna had 11 and Tyrell Roberts had 10.
Maine overcame 27 total turnovers against the Cruise, and outscored Motor City in the paint, 62-44.
Daniss Jenkins had 28 to lead the Cruise, who had their six-game winning streak snapped.
