Kellen Tynes scored 16 points, AJ Lopez added 15, and Quion Burns added 13 points and nine rebounds as the University of Maine snapped a three-game losing streak with a 73-66 victory of New Hampshire in an America East men’s basketball game Thursday night in Durham, New Hampshire.
The Black Bears (17-12, 9-5 America East) took the lead for good late in the first half and maintained it with the help of 52 percent shooting from 3-point range (12 of 23).
Sami Pissis led UNH (8-22, 6-9) with 24 points.
