Sage Fortin scored 29 points, while Lillian Cox recorded 18 points and 23 rebounds to lift University of Maine at Augusta to a 97-82 win over Penn State Beavers in a consolation game at the USCAA Division II women’s basketball tournament on Thursday in Buffalo, New York.
The Moose, who played in the national tournament for the fourth consecutive year, end the season 26-4. Penn State Beaver finishes 19-11.
Bella Petrocci scored 27 points off the bench for UMA, while Alisyn Ally had 20 points.
Bailey Reig scored 28 points, Katie Enderie added 18 and Claudie Siegfried 14 for Penn State Beaver.
