The Skowhegan Woman’s Club’s latest scholarship recipient is Samira Jeanne Tuttle, daughter of Mary Ann Tompkins of Skowhegan.
Tuttle, a 2024 graduate of Skowhegan Area High School, was a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council, was involved in public speaking, and participated in a week-long Dirigo State Program at Thomas College.
The annual scholarship is awarded after a successful first semester of college. Tuttle, a freshman majoring in computer science with a minor in psychology at Thomas College in Waterville, received the scholarship in February. Tuttle’s fall semester GPA was 3.95.
