Portland Hearts of Pine opened its first USL League One soccer season Saturday night with a 0-0 draw against FC Naples in Naples, Florida.

Portland keeper Hunter Morse needed to make just one save to record the shutout. Both teams attempted eight shots but put only one on target.

FC Naples, like Hearts of Pine, is playing its first season in USL1. The Wave are in first place in the 14-team league with two wins and two ties after four games.

Next up for Hearts is a U.S. Open Cup second-round game Wednesday night in Lewiston against Hartford Athletic. Portland then travels west for a league game against Spokane next Saturday.
