The Freeport at Monmouth softball teams helped each other get ready for the upcoming season with a preseason matchup Thursday in Freeport.
The Falcons host South Portland for another preseason tilt on Tuesday, then they open the regular season at Wells next Thursday, April 17.
The Mustangs travel to Bucksport for a scrimmage on Saturday, but aren’t scheduled to begin their season until April 28 at Mt. Abram.
