This is now life under Justice Alito’s upside down American flag. A convicted felon who has bankrupted himself four times is about to rake billions of dollars from the government’s treasury into coffers only he will control.

A “Republican” president is imposing the largest tax hike in history on the American people while historically tax-wary but now compromised Republicans fall in line. That’s billions of dollars that were funding fragile social programs that aided Americans across the board now going to … well, we really don’t know where.

No, Social Security is not a “Ponzi scheme,” but this reshuffling of the world’s strongest economy sure looks like one.

Let Maine’s elected officials, who so far seem more savvy than the norm, know this abusive tax hike and trade war is not OK.
