Rileigh Chase, Monmouth Academy senior shortstop: Chase, an MVC first-team pick in 2024, is one of the senior leaders for a squad that should contend for the Class C South title this spring.

Natalie Gilman, Skowhegan senior catcher/infielder: A KVAC Class A first-team selection as a junior, Gilman is one just three seniors on a young team that will be looking to improve early and quickly to contend in Class A North. She will play at the University of Maine at Augusta next year.

Jade Graham, Hall-Dale senior third baseman: An MVC second-team pick last year, Graham is a powerful hitter who will hold down the middle of the Bulldogs’ batting order.

Lucy Gray, Hall-Dale senior pitcher: Gray, who was the Bulldogs’ starting shortstop and an MVC second-team selection last year, takes over in the circle as Hall-Dale tries to win a fifth straight Class C title.

Audrey Mihm, Messalonskee senior catcher: A KVAC Class A second-team selection last season, Mihm is the leader on the field for a team that finished 10-7 last season and enters the year with a veteran-heavy squad. She has hit better than .400 each of the past two seasons.

Taryn Nichols, Gardiner senior outfielder: A multi-sport standout, Nichols is one of three seniors who will be expected to lead a young squad.

Shannah Parsons, Monmouth Academy senior pitcher: An MVC first-team selection last season, the lefty led the Mustangs to the Class C South semifinals in 2024 and will be counted on for bigger things this spring. She has committed to play for the new University of Maine at Augusta softball program.

Molly Takatsu, Gardiner freshman shortstop/pitcher: Coach Ryan Gero is high on the younger sister of former Gardiner star Taylor Takatsu.

Tori Tibbetts, Hall-Dale senior shortstop: An MVC first-team pick last year, Tibbetts makes the move from second base to shortstop. A strong hitter who can make clutch plays, Tibbetts has the ability to become the MVC player of the year, according to coach Steve Acedo.

Madison Wilson, Messalonskee junior pitcher: Audrey Mihm’s battery mate, a KVAC Class A second-team choice last year, will lead the Eagles in the circle. She has committed to play in college for Albertus Magnus of New Haven, Connecticut.
