Michael Achorn, Messalonskee senior catcher: One of the state’s most powerful hitters, Achorn notched 26 hits, including five home runs, last season. He batted .406 with 24 RBI for the Class A North champions.

Brady Alexander, Richmond senior pitcher/second baseman: An all-around star for a team that went 15-2 last season, Alexander was 4-0 with a 0.72 ERA and just seven walks, while batting .391 with 18 hits and 15 RBI.

Trent Collin and Carter Collin, Winthrop senior pitchers: One of the top pitchers in central Maine last year, Trent Collin had 94 strikeouts and a 3.02 ERA. Twin brother Carter struck out 50 while batting .312.

Jacob Frazee, Lawrence senior pitcher/infield: Lawrence was one of the best teams in central Maine last year at 14-3, and Frazee was a huge reason why. He was an all-KVAC Class B first-team selection who flirted with a .500 batting average.

Jacob Harmon, Monmouth Academy sophomore center fielder: Harmon’s .502 batting average, 28 hits and team-high 26 runs helped the 17-2 Mustangs reach the Class C South title game for the second straight year and the third time in four seasons.

Denny Martin, Messalonskee senior first baseman/pitcher: The Stonehill College commit is coming off an outstanding season in which he hit .419 with 26 hits and 15 RBI and went 3-1 on the mound, his lone loss coming in the state title game.

Kenny Mecham, Richmond junior third baseman: Few players in Maine put up better numbers last season than Mecham, who batted .580 with 29 hits and 26 RBI for the Class D South runner-up.

Parker Morin, Cony junior pitcher/shortstop: An All-KVAC Class B first-team selection last year, Morin hit a team-high .380 with 17 RBI and 17 stolen bases for a team that won double-digit games for the third consecutive season.

Silas Tibbetts, Skowhegan senior pitcher/shortstop: Tibbetts went 3-2 with a 2.98 ERA last season while also batting .304 with 17 hits. He was an All-KVAC Class A North first-team selection.

Bryce Wilcox, Mt. Abram senior pitcher/catcher: Coach Jeff Pillsbury expects big things from Wilcox, a top player in the field, on the mound and at the plate (16 RBI) for a team that should contend in Class C South.
