Ethan Chilton, Maranacook/Winthrop junior attack: Chilton scored 61 goals and added 18 assists as a sophomore, and he will be counted on again to be a major player for a team aiming to return to the Class C final.
Kaiden Delano, Oak Hill senior midfielder: Delano, who will continue his career at Division II Southern New Hampshire next season, will be a key contributor for a squad hoping to make a deep run in Class C.
Owen Kirk, Messalonskee senior defenseman: Messalonskee head coach Tom Sheridan said Kirk — who caused 45 turnovers, had 85 ground balls last season and was a KVAC Large School first-team pick — is not only the best defenseman in the KVAC, but one of the best in the state.
Jacob Lyons, Maranacook/Winthrop sophomore attack: As a freshman, Lyons scored 42 goals and added 29 assists. He is a perfect complement with Ethan Chilton to form, arguably, Class C’s best attack.
Ryan Parent, Messalonskee senior attack: Parent, a KVAC Large School first-team selection last year, hopes to end his career on a high note after scoring 61 goals and adding 24 assists last season.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
