It is the duty of Sen. Susan Collins to immediately and forcefully condemn President Trump’s refusal to follow the Supreme Court’s order to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia to his family, and to introduce a Senate resolution demanding that the president obey the Court.
Abrego Garcia’s deportation was a clear and deliberate violation of the most basic guarantee in the Constitution, the right to due process. She swore to defend that Constitution, and remaining silent would contribute to its destruction.
