As a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service, I cannot be still anymore. Those who join the present president in denigrating the ability of the USPS to deliver the mail, while adding to the problem, really frustrate me.
While he disturbs many people, he continues to make the problem worse. His solution to privatize the Postal Service would be sad if not so completely absurd.
With all of the vagaries, I firmly believe that the USPS does a great job. I am asking that each of us evaluate their service and think of what is currently going on in the presidential offices. People should please contact their local postmaster, letter carrier and elected officials to let them know their service is appreciated.
