FAIRFIELD — Jack Spellman and Landen Perry combined for a no-hitter Monday as the Cony baseball team claimed a 3-0 victory over Lawrence.
Perry also had a double for the Rams (2-1) in the win. Lance Theriault had a single and two RBI.
Michael Hamlin took the loss for Lawrence (2-1).
OAK HILL 12, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 11: The Raiders scored sixth runs in the fifth inning to pull out a one-run win over the Phoenix in Wales.
Carson Morin led Oak Hill (1-1) with three hits, one run scored and one RBI. Braden New finished with one hit and three RBI.
Blake Gemelli contributed two hits, two RBI and two runs scored for Spruce Mountain (0-3).
LEAVITT 12, WATERVILLE 2, 6 INNINGS: Ryder Sawyer-Brown had two hits at the plate, and earned a win on the mound by striking out nine as the Hornets (1-1) beat the Purple Panthers (1-2) in Turner.
Randon Hutchinson and Landon Marquis each added two hits for Leavitt, including a double each.
Xavier Hamlin had two hits for Waterville. Derek Couture struck out five in the loss for the Purple Panthers.
SOFTBALL
MONMOUTH ACADEMY 22, MT. ABRAM 0: Shannah Parsons went 3 for 3 with a home run and five RBIs at the plate and earned the win in the circle in the Mustangs’ three-inning mercy-rule win over the Roadrunners in Salem Township.
Rileigh Chase went 4 for 4 with another home run for Monmouth (1-0). Lily Palleschi and Evelyn Pettengill both doubled and tripled for the Mustangs.
Celia Rose took the loss for Mt. Abram (0-3).
CARRABEC 18, TEMPLE ACADEMY 0: The Cobras scored 10 runs in the first inning and eight in the second en route to a three-inning victory over the Bereans in North Anson.
Karen Baker, Adawna Landry, Jillian Robinson, Aiyana Tibbetts and Lilliana Caldwell had two hits each for Carrabec (1-0). Robinson also struck out seven while allowing just three hits.
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 21, MADISON 0: Addison Libby threw a perfect game with six strikeouts as the Falcons notched a three-inning mercy-rule win over the Bulldogs in Madison.
Maddy Brown was 3 for 5 at the plate with two doubles and five RBI for Mountain Valley (2-1). Madisyn McLean added two hits for the Falcons, who walked 15 times.
Madison falls to 0-3.
OAK HILL 9, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 4: Izzy Whitaker struck out 11 and scored three runs for the Raiders (1-1) in their victory over the Phoenix in Wales.
Whitaker had one of Oak Hill’s three doubles. Carlee Austin and Ava Lemont had the others. Austin, Olivia French and Ava Rivet each drove in two runs, while Lemont and Emma Dubois had two hits apiece.
Tyoaka Hodgkin led Spruce Mountain with two hits, including a triple.
