NEWPORT — Kelsie Dunn and Lilly Clark each had three kids, along with a double and three RBI, to lead the Erskine Academy softball team to an 11-5 victory over Nokomis on Wednesday.
Jordyn Parise, Stella Martinelli and Madison Griffiths each added two hits for Erskine (3-4). Martinelli had two RBI.
Hannah Brewer had two hits for Nokomis (1-2).
MONMOUTH ACADEMY 19, MADISON 0, 4 INNINGS: Isabella Lyons smacked a three-run home run to lead the Mustangs (4-0) over the Bulldogs (0-5) in Madison.
Rileigh Chase had two hits for the Monmouth Academy, including a triple. Shannah Parsons tossed a perfect game in the circle for the Mustangs.
Kaitlyn Frost added a two-run double for Monmouth Academy.
BASEBALL
WATERVILLE 12, HALL-DALE 0, 5 INNINGS: Ben Foster clubbed two home runs and earned the win on the mound to lead the Purple Panthers (2-4) to victory over the Bulldogs (1-3) in Waterville.
Derek Couture had a home run and a double for Waterville. Defensively, the Purple Panthers pulled off a 6-4-3 triple play.
Logan Norton had two hits for Hall-Dale.
