
Betty Ann Hodsdon
WINTHROP – Betty Ann Hodsdon, 90, born Oct. 10, 1934, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side at Glenridge Longterm Care in Augusta.
She was predeceased by her husband, Philip Tilton, on April 17, 2020; and by baby Dennis.
She was born in Readfield to Ed and Ruth Hodsdon. Betty graduated in 1953 with high honors from Winthrop High School.
She is survived by her son, Steve Thompson and his wife Kathy of Texas, grandson Gordon Thompson of Texas; son, James Thompson of Sweden, grandson Jonathan Thompson of Sweden; daughter, Janice Thompson of Winthrop, grandson Steven Thompson of Auburn, granddaughter, Dawn Marie Thompson and her husband Adam Durant of Kingston, N.H., great-grandson, Calvin Durant of Kingston, N.H.; stepson, John Tilton and his partner Eugene of Portsmouth, N.H., Mark Tilton and his wife Suzanne of Haverhill, Mass.; as well as several step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.
