Brenda Ann Cimpher

Brenda lived a life filled with joy, warmth, and adventure. She had a deep love for travelling, especially to the ocean and on trips to Florida with her dear friend, Liz, and treasured every moment spent with her family. Holidays were her favorite time of year, when she filled the room with laughter, delicious food, and the comforting presence of those she held closest to her heart.
Brenda had a special place in her heart for Elvis Presley, and his music often filled her home. She loved to dance, whether it was in the kitchen while cooking or at family gatherings. Her joy was contagious and her spirit unforgettable.
Brenda worked as a private home health nurse in the Kennebec County area, providing compassionate care and support to individuals and families. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, both personally and professionally.
She was predeceased by her beloved nephew, Ian O’Conner; granddaughter, Felicia Lathrop; her sister, Roxanne O’Conner, and her brother, Rick O’Conner.
Brenda is lovingly remembered by her sister, Harriet Dingus Hartley of Alabama; her sons Richard Lathrop Jr. and his fiancée, Angie Hyden; Kenneth Lathrop and his wife, Donna Lathrop, and their family; and Wayne Lathrop and his children, Paige and Cody; her daughter, Lori, and Scott Harrington, and their children, Tyler and Morgan; as well as numerous great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Brenda’s memory.
Brenda’s love, kindness, and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered along with the sound of Elvis playing, and the sight of her dancing, full of life and joy.
