Maine is literally filled with Pride this year.

That’s good news for people looking for ways to celebrate Pride Month, in June. If you happen to be busy the day your town or city is hosting a Pride celebration, it will be incredibly easy to go online and find another one, somewhere else.

There are at least three dozen events around the state listed online. They range from crowded, daylong celebrations like the Pride Portland Parade and Festival in Maine’s biggest city to  small-town celebrations like a Gouldsboro Pride cookie share in the tiny Down East town of Gouldsboro.

There are celebrations planned from Ogunquit to Farmington, from Denmark to Waterville, and beyond. Here are some of the Pride events happening around Maine this month.

Central Maine Pride Festival, Waterville

Noon-4 p.m. June 1, Head of Falls, Waterville. This free event features artists, makers, community-based organizations, entertainment and food. There’ll be music by deejays, an open mic session and drag performances. Facebook.com/CentralMainePride
