Deering is only 6-4, but it recently has claimed victories over a couple teams ranked in the Varsity Maine boys lacrosse poll, beating No. 9 Maranacook/Winthrop 15-7 on May 17 and No. 5 Kennebunk 10-8 on May 20. Those wins have boosted the Rams into this week’s rankings, where they share the 10th-place spot with North Yarmouth Academy.

Falmouth is the unanimous No. 1 after beating Yarmouth 15-7 on Friday. That loss didn’t impact the Clippers, who remain second. Thornton Academy is still third, while the top five is rounded out by York and Kennebunk, who switched spots since last week.

The Varsity Maine boys lacrosse poll is based on games played before May 27, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
