Wins over last week’s fourth-ranked team has bounced Windham and Cheverus up three spots and into the top five of this week’s Varsity Maine poll. The Eagles (9-1) beat Marshwood 16-6 on Thursday and have jumped from seventh place to fourth. The Stags (8-2) edged the Hawks 13-12 last Tuesday to jump-start a 3-0 week and are ranked fifth after being eighth last week. Marshwood (8-3) is now seventh.

Maranacook/Winthrop (8-1), the only ranked Class C team, moves from 10th to a tie for eighth with Thornton (7-4).

The top three spots are unchanged, with Kennebunk (10-0) the unanimous No. 1, followed by Freeport (9-0) and Mt. Ararat (11-0).

The Varsity Maine girls lacrosse poll is based on games played before May 27, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
