Cheverus coach John Eisenhart talks to players between innings against Kennebunk on May 21. Derek Davis/Portland Press Herald

This week’s Varsity Maine softball poll looks a lot like last week’s. The only two changes are York moving from fourth into a tie for third with Windham, and Kennebunk (now No. 6) and Bangor (now seventh) swapping places.

In fact, Cheverus, the unanimous No. 1, second-place Gorham and Windham all received the same amount of points as last week.

The Varsity Maine softball poll is based on games played before May 27, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
