Eva M. Moulton
TOPSFIELD, Mass. – Eva M. Moulton, our beautiful Mom, passed from this world at the age of 101 on May 27, 2025.
She was born in 1923 to the late William and Mabel Gott of Richmond. There in that town along the Kennebec River she was raised on a small farm by loving parents. At 18, Mom met the love of her life, Elwood Moulton. Together they shared a loving and devoted marriage for 68 years. They moved to Danvers in 1955, and they worked hard to raise three children. Their love for us was lifelong and deeply felt. They were of the Greatest Generation. Mom kept an immaculate home, always ready to welcome friends and relatives. We cherished Mom’s tales of her early childhood adventures. Homemade mincemeat pies were holiday treats. We remember.
Mom was predeceased by our wonderful father, Elwood Moulton, brothers William and Chester Gott and sisters Frances and Dora Millet.
Mom is survived by her devoted and loving daughter, Sherry Moulton of Topsfield. Sherry gave Mom great care every day. Also survived by loving sons, Mark Moulton of Seminole, Florida and Carroll Moulton of Boston, cousin, Bill Moulton and his wife Patricia of Pittston, Maine and several loving friends who gave our Mom great joy.
Our family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Masconomet Healthcare Center in Topsfield. They gave Mom great care and companionship.
Funeral services will be private. Online condolences are available at http://www.lyonsFuneral.com
Expression of sympathy may be made in Eva’s name to the Topsfield Council on Aging, 8 West Common St, Topsfield, MA, 01983.
