Priscilla Mae (Spencer) Lavallee Thompson
AUGUSTA – Priscilla Mae (Spencer) Lavallee Thompson, 93, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025. She was born in Gardiner, on Sept. 19, 1931, the daughter of the late Leander and Alma (Clouátre) Spencer.
She graduated from Hallowell High School in 1949.
Priscilla was employed by the State of Maine for 25 years, retiring from the Augusta Mental Health Institution in 1980.
She was predeceased by her brother, George Spencer; stepgranddaughters: Carrie (Dostie) Tyler and Tonya Beland and her former husbands: Gerard “Pete” Lavallee and Kenneth Thompson, Jr.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her sons: Richard Lavallee and his companion, Debbie Everett of Manchester and Steven Lavallee and his wife Cindy (Dostie) Lavallee of Winthrop; daughters: Lisa (Lavallee) Gilbert and her husband Gary of Manchester and Tamara (Lavallee) Callahan of Modesto, Calif.; grandchildren: Melissa Lizotte, Krystall Lavallee, Amber Stubbs, Ryan C. Gorneau, Breanna M. Gorneau, Cameron Callahan, and Olivia Callahan; great-grandchildren: Lucas Tyler, Malcolm Lavallee, and Aliyah Stubbs; step-sons: Kenneth Thompson, III and Jeffrey Thompson; sisters-in-law: Laraine Spencer and Karen (Thompson) Ricks; brother-in-law, Lucien “Sonny” Lavallee as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At her request, there will be no public visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12, at 11 a.m., at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery, Gardiner.
