The Portland Sea Dogs held a 3-1 lead Friday against the Altoona Curve when their Eastern League game in Pennsylvania was suspended in the bottom of the fifth inning because of rain.
The teams are now scheduled to complete the game Saturday afternoon, starting at 4 p.m., before playing their regularly scheduled game.
Connelly Early was on the mound for the Sea Dogs and struck out eight in 4 2/3 innings, but Altoona had runners on second and third when the game was stopped.
Altoona took the lead in the first inning. Allan Castro tied it in the fourth with his first home run of the season, and Mark Kolozsvary belted a two-run homer in the fifth.
