Max Ferguson tied the game with a leadoff home run in the bottom of the fifth inning, Allan Castro followed two batters later with a two-run homer, and relievers Gabriel Jackson and Christopher Troye held Hartford hitless over the final four innings as the Portland Sea Dogs earned a 6-3 Eastern League victory Tuesday night at Hadlock Field.
The Sea Dogs trailed 3-0 in the fourth inning before Castro doubled home Marvin Alcantara and scored on a single by Tyler Miller.
Ferguson, who finished with three hits, made it 3-3 in the fifth with his fourth home run of the season.
Jackson worked three innings, with two strikeouts and two walks. Troye retired all three batters he faced for his first save of the season.
