United Way of Mid Coast Maine will hold its 2025 annual meeting from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, at Bowdoin College’s Barry Mills Hall, 12 Polar Loop, Brunswick. The event’s theme is “United We Thrive” — an opportunity to come together as a community, for the community.

The quest speaker is Topsham resident John Dorrer, a labor economist and workforce analyst, who will “highlight our community’s greatest asset, volunteers,” Nicole Evans, executive director of United Way of Mid Coast Maine, said in a news release.
Standing for reelection and election to the United Way of Mid Coast Maine Board of Directors include: Sean Martin (chairperson), Catherine Showalter (first vice chairperson), Christopher Bowe (second vice chairperson), Bob McCue (treasurer), Coleen Farrell, Carol Dexter, John Dorrer and Matt Orlando.
