Patricia M. Breton

FAYETTE – On the second day of June, Patricia M. Breton, 67, passed away at the Maine Veterans Home in Augusta after a brief battle with breast cancer. The daughter of Ann and Henry Diamond, she was born on June 29, 1957.

She lives on through her husband of 50 years, Francis, and her two sons, Aaron and Adam. She was predeceased by her eldest son, Israel. Surviving family include her sisters Bonnie Lindemann and Deborah Morgan, brothers Robert and Christopher Diamond, along with grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, “Mugsy”.

“Mom was mom”, she knew what to say when times were hard. Family meant everything to Pat; she was the heart of all gatherings, big or small. Her elaborately decorated tables were spread with appetizers, main dishes and desserts. We’d eat, laugh and play games.

When her sons were young, she owned and operated a gift shop in Winthrop, which showcased many items she handcrafted. Later in life, Pat enjoyed making custom jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets and beautiful broaches. Her creativity extended to a flare for decorating her home.

Pat will be remembered for her style and beautiful, long hair. All the time spent playing games with her sons, trips to the coast and snowmobiling in Rangeley will never be forgotten and will always remain in the minds and hearts of those close to her. She was truly a pure, kindhearted individual who provided advice or a shoulder to anyone in need.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at her home, located at 241 South Road in Fayette on Sunday, June 29, beginning at 12:00 noon with no specific ending time. All family and friends are welcome to attend.

Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home and Cremations Service, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop. Memories, photos and videos may be shared with the family on the obituary page of the funeral home website at http://www.khrfuneralhomes.com.
