Cape Elizabeth, which hasn’t lost in more than a month is now tied for third in the Varsity Maine baseball poll, moving up from a tie for fifth place in last week’s poll. The Capers, who have won 10 straight games, are tied with Thornton Academy. Marshwood is No. 1 for the second straight week, and Scarborough is No. 2.

Cony, which won its final nine regular season games, joins the rankings at No. 9, while Greely jumps from eight to sixth this week.

 

The Varsity Maine baseball poll is based on games played before June 10, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
