Class A North softball has had a season of parity, and that has extended to this week’s Varsity Maine poll. Bangor, ranked 10th a week ago, has jumped into a tie for seventh with Oxford Hills. The Rams are A North’s top seed in the regional tournament, while the Vikings are second.

Below those two teams, Belfast and Leavitt are tied for ninth. The top six are the same as last week, led by unanimous No. 1 Cheverus.

The Varsity Maine softball poll is based on games played before June 10, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
