Camden Hills senior Colby Bennett was named the Gatorade Maine Boys Soccer Player of the Year on Thursday.
Bennett, who was also the Varsity Maine Boys Soccer Player of the Year, had 21 goals and nine assists to help the Windjammers win the Class A state championship.
Camden Hills went to penalty kicks in both the Class A North final, a 4-3 win over Lewiston, and the Class A final, a 1-0 win over Scarborough. Bennett scored in the shootout in both victories.
