Edwina “Nina” Lee Beaucage
BINGHAM – Edwina “Nina” Lee Beaucage, 71, passed away on June 8, 2025, at her daughter’s home.
Nina was born on June 26, 1953, daughter to Edward L. Jewell and Margaret Virginia Hunt. She proudly earned her GED through the Adult Learning Center in Augusta. Nina owned her own cleaning company and retired from Kirschner Hot Dogs.
Nina loved her family dearly and spending time with them was her favorite. She especially loved camping trips, “Girl’s Weekends,” and tending to her flower garden. She could often be found working on her photography, helping at St. Peter’s Thrift Shop, as well as making Christmas wreaths. Nina’s life was full of love.
She was predeceased by both her parents, husband Gary Beaucage, son Joseph Beaucage, and sister Debbie Smith.
Nina leaves behind her son Richard Freitas with his partner Jenn Stiles; daughters, Jade and Jewell
Freitas with their mother Kelley Frost; daughter Tina Tibbetts with her husband Mark Tibbetts and their children Justin Cyr with his wife Kristen, Kayla Cyr, and Jacob Cyr with his wife Sarah Davis; great-grandchildren Layla, Abel, John, Rowan, Amelia, and Nova Lee; sister Susan Colfer with her partner Dan Pratt, brother Chuck Jewell with his wife Barbara Jewell, sister Gina Richards, and brother Craig Richards with his partner Ruth Ogletree; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Nina’s niece Samantha Smith and Sandi Tremblay for their support and help with caring for her.
Nina’s celebration of life is to be held at Reid State Park located in Georgetown, Maine, on July 26, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please bring your own chairs for your comfort.
