Sea Dogs pitchers David Sandlin, Christopher Troye and Jonathan Brand combined to no-hit the Akron RubberDucks in a 10-0 victory in the teams’ series finale Sunday at Hadlock Field.

The no-hitter is the eighth in team history and the first since July 23, 2023, when Wikelman Gonzalez, Brendan Cellucci, and Luis Guerrero combined for a 6-2 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

Sandlin (4-3) started and struck out nine batters and walked three in six innings. Troye relieved in the seventh, walking two batters, and Brand struck out two in the ninth inning.

Sandln, a 24-year-old right-hander acquired by the Red Sox in a February 2024 trade for pitcher John Schreiber, was the ninth-ranked Boston prospect in MLB Pipeline’s 2025 preseason rankings. He has a 3.90 ERA and 62 strikeouts with 19 walks in 60 innings to go with a WHIP of 1.18.

Max Ferguson had three hits, two runs scored and two RBI for Portland (34-33), which pounded out 12 hits as a team.

Luis Ravelo hit his first home run as a Sea Dog, a two-run shot off Dylan DeLucia (2-1) in the third inning.

Portland scored four runs in the first inning, highlighted by Drew Ehrhard’s two-run single. Ravelo, Ehrhard and Ronald Rosario had two hits apiece for the Sea Dogs.

DeLucia allowed seven hits and seven runs in three innings for Akron (43-25).
