Albert Dikwa scored three times and Rhode Island FC beat the Portland Hearts of Pine in a USL Jagermeister Cup game on Friday night in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Rhode Island FC improves to 3-0 in group play, while Portland falls to 1-2.

Dikwa scored three straight goals, in the 18th minute, the 50th minute and the 58th minute, to give Rhode Island a 3-0 lead. Titus Washington scored in the 63rd minute for Portland, and Noah Fuson capped the scoring for Rhode Island in the 85th minute.

Portland has one game left in the Jagermeister Cup, against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on July 25 at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland. They return to USL League One play at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday against AV Alta FC at Fitzpatrick.
