CHELSEA – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Jeanette Rita Campbellton, who left us on June 27, 2025. Jeanette was a beacon of unwavering love and the embodiment of a life well-lived, having been born in Gardiner, Maine, on Oct. 8, 1936. Jeanette’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering loyalty to her loved ones and her ability to find joy in every day.

Jeanette was a talented woman who thrived in her career as a Clerk Typist 2 for the State of Maine DHHS before her retirement. Her dedication to her work was just one aspect of her diverse skill set. Jeanette was a thoughtful person who found solace in her hobbies. She was a gifted knitter, a fearless cross-country skier, an adventurous camper, and a joyful motorcyclist. Her culinary prowess was unmatched, with her baking and cooking skills being a source of delight for her family and friends. Her home in Chelsea, Maine, was always filled with the aroma of her delicious creations. Jeanette also had a green thumb and enjoyed canning the fruits of her gardening labor, further showcasing her versatile talents.

Jeanette survived by her loving husband of 70 years Frank Campbellton, Sr; four children Frank Jr., Brenda, Ellen, and Michael; sister Irene Dunn; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel and Ella Beaulieu; five siblingsl and a granddaughter.

A memorial service to celebrate Jeanette’s life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Calvary Four Square Church, located at 109 Old Brunswick Road, Gardiner, Maine, 04345.
