The New Hampshire Fisher Cats scored twice in the first and second innings to end a five-game losing streak by beating the Portland Sea Dogs 4-1 in an Eastern League game Wednesday night at Manchester, New Hampshire.
Portland was 0 for 6 with runners in scoring position. Its only run came on a double by Zach Ehrhard in the fourth inning that scored Allan Castro from first.
Charles McAdoo hit a two-run homer in the first for New Hampshire, which got runs in the second inning on RBI singles by Jacob Sharp and Jackson Hornung.
Castro was 2 for 4 for the Sea Dogs.
