Tyler Miller and Marvin Alcantara hit RBI singles in the sixth inning, capping Portland’s comeback from a three-run deficit as the Sea Dogs halted a five-game losing streak with a 4-3 win Friday night in an Eastern League game against the Hartford Yard Goats at Hadlock Field.

Ahbram Liendo started the comeback with a two-run homer in the fifth inning. In the sixth, Brooks Brannon hit a two-out double and scored the tying run on Miller’s single to left. After Caden Rose kept the inning alive with a walk, Alcantara lined a single to right, driving home Brannon with the go-ahead run.

Sea Dogs starter David Sandlin (5-4) pitched into the seventh inning, allowing six hits and three runs in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out seven and walked three. Jack Anderson struck out four and walked one in 2 2/3 hitless innings, recording his second save of the season.

Hartford’s Juan Guerrero was 3 for 3 with a two-run single. The Yard Goats opened the scoring on a throwing error in the first inning, then added two runs in the third.
