Charles King allowed just two hits in five scoreless innings, and Paul McIntosh went 3 for 4 with two RBI to lead the Reading Fightin Phils to a 6-3 win over the Portland Sea Dogs in an Eastern League game Friday night in Reading, Pennsylvania.
The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fourth, when Reading struck for four runs against Sea Dogs starter Dalton Rogers.
Portland got all of their runs in the seventh inning, on singles by Ronald Rosario, Marvin Alcantara and Ahbram Liendo and a triple by Mikey Romero.
The Fightin Phils answered in the bottom half, however, as McIntosh hit a two-run single.
