The Portland Sea Dogs had three of their seven hits in the 10th inning to beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels 6-5 in an Eastern League game Wednesday night at Richmond, Virginia.
Portland scored three times in the 10th inning on RBI singles by Zach and Drew Ehrhard (each had two hits) and a wild pitch. Richmond got two runs in the bottom of the 10th on an RBI double by Turner Hill and a wild pitch. Noah Song struck out Bo Davidson looking with the tying run on third to end the game.
Portland, which has won three straight, took a 3-0 lead in the second inning on a three-run homer by Ahbram Liendo.
Richmond got three runs in the fourth inning to tie the game. Aeverson Arteaga had a two-run single; the other run scored on a wild pitch.
