Ronald Rosario hit a two-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to lift the Portland Sea Dogs to a 5-1 win over the Flying Squirrels in an Eastern League game on Saturday in Richmond, Virginia.
Rosario added a solo home run in the eighth inning for the Sea Dogs, who won for the fifth time in six games.
Portland starter Payton Tolle earned his first Eastern League win. He allowed one run on two hits, struck out four and walked one in five innings. In five games for Portland, Tolle is 1-1 with a 1.96 ERA. He has 31 strikeouts and five walks in 23 innings.
Noah Song pitched 1 2/3 innings to earn his first career save.
