Mike Huckabee, the U.S. ambassador to Israel and a Trump supporter, insisted that the IDF was helping settlers in the West Bank to “carry out acts of terror and violence.” Huckabee was reacting to the murder of a U.S. citizen of Palestinian descent and to attacks by settlers on the West Bank Christian village of Taybeh. President Trump also complained to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about an Israeli tank firing into the only Catholic Church in Gaza and killing three people. It seems that we react only when terror is aimed at Americans and Christians.
Recently the U.S. and Netanyahu have created a paramilitary group to distribute food in Gaza, while forbidding the U.N. to act. When Palestinians approach food distribution centers, Israeli soldiers fire on the crowds. These attacks have killed hundreds in recent weeks.
Palestinian deaths since 2023 are estimated to have reached 84,000, according to recent independent findings. What’s the point? Hamas is the enemy.
Netanyahu has conned Trump to play the antisemitic card so the U.S. will supply the weapons that Israel needs to kill not only Palestinians but Lebanese, Syrians, Yemenis, Iranians and Israelis.
When will we understand that our taxes become bombs and are sent to Israel to kill people as if they were rats, and when are we going to realize that we are accessories to murder and genocide?
