The Portland Hearts of Pine, Maine’s professional men’s soccer team, signed 6-foot-3 Norwegian striker Noah Kvifte on Tuesday, pending league and federation approval.

Kvifte played this season for Asker Fotball in Norway’s second division, scoring one goal in seven substitute appearances. He played collegiately in America, at St. Leo University in Florida and Florida Atlantic University. In 2024, he tied for the American Athletic Conference lead in goals with eight and added two assists for Florida Atlantic.

He also earned a master’s degree and was recognized as a second-team Academic All-American and first-team AAC All-Conference.
