Four Altoona pitchers combined on a three-hitter Wednesday night, leading the Curve to a 6-2 win over the Portland Sea Dogs in an Eastern League game at Hadlock Field.
Portland’s Max Ferguson homered for the second straight night, hitting a two-run blast in the seventh inning after a walk to Ronald Rosario. Rosario and Marvin Alcantara got the only other hits for the Sea Dogs.
Eduardo Rivera got the loss, allowing two runs in 4 1/3 innings. He struck out five, walked three and gave up three hits.
