Robert W. Parquette
AUGUSTA – Robert W. Parquette, 79, passed away on Aug. 3, 2025, at the Andwell Hospice House in Auburn with his wife Terri and his rescue black lab, Sadie, by his side. He was born on Feb. 3, 1946, a son of Alonzo and Mary (Fisher) Parquette.
Bob was educated in local schools, graduating from Cony High School in the class of 1965. After school, he began his career working in sales, retiring in 2006 after 36 years at Lorillard Tobacco.
On June 22, 1984, he married Theresa “Terri” Rivard and the two made their home on Bolton Hill Road.
Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, mowing his lawn and caring for his property, watching football and rooting for the Red Sox. He particularly enjoyed time spent on their property on Three Mile Pond. For many years, Bob played poker every Tuesday night with his friends, something he looked forward to every week.
Bob was a lifetime member of Le Club Calumet and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
Bob will be remembered for his friendly disposition and his good sense of humor.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his siblings, David Parquette, Franklin Parquette, and Patricia St. Pierre.
Bob is lovingly survived by his wife, Terri Parquette; his children, Jennifer “Gigi” Parquette and her husband David Lofano, and Timothy Parquette and his wife Gina; a grandson; his siblings, Michael Parquette and his partner Mary Nickerson, and Dottie Sheltra and her husband Scott; and many nieces and nephews.
No visiting hours are being held. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery will be private. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 21, at Western View Golf and Pub, 130 Bolton Hill Rd., Augusta, ME 04330.
