Branden Boissiere’s two-run home run in the ninth inning lifted the Harrisburg Senators to a 3-1 win over the Portland Sea Dogs in the teams’ series finale Sunday in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Boissiere homered off Portland’s Jorge Juan (1-3, 3.80) with one on and one out.
The Sea Dogs (51-54) tied the game 1-1 in the eighth, when Ahbram Liendo scored from second base on a pair of wild pitches by Senators pitcher Jack Sinclair.
Austin Amaral (1-0, 0.00) pitched 1 2/3 innings of hitless relief for Harrisburg (52-55).
Allan Castro had two hits for Portland, while starting pitcher Hayden Mullins allowed three hits and one earned run over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out five batters and walked two.
