Lucille M. Trask

OAKLAND – Lucille M. Trask was born on Feb. 15, 1943, and passed away on Aug. 4, 2025, at the age of 82 from short-term illness.

Lucille was a homemaker and cleaned camps in Belgrade. Lucille’s favorite hobby was fishing. She was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley. She loved growing a vegetable garden with her late husband and late son. Lucille also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Lucille was predeceased by her parents Charles Frost and Louise (Nutter) Frost; husband, Basil Trask; son, Kevin Buzzell; sister, Mary A. Kelley; and lifelong friend, Briggie Bliss.

Lucille is survived by her brother, David Frost and sister, Jackie Frost of Belgrade; daughter-in-law, Samantha Buzzell of Benton; two granddaughters, Cassaundra Buzzell of Fairfield and Amanda Buzzell and partner Derek Shaw of Fairfield; three great-grandchildren, Izabelle Shaw, Jake and Ava Raymond, all of Fairfield; family friend, Courtney Exter, and dear friend, Joyce and her husband.

We would like to thank everyone at Hospice and a special thank you to her two nurses, Katie and Crissy.

There will be a graveside burial at Lewis Cemetery on Cottle Road in Oakland at 11 a.m. on Aug. 22. There will be a small gathering at her house after at 58 Oak St. in Oakland.
