WAYNESBORO, Va. – Clifton Glidden Jr. “Cliff”, passed away peacefully on Aug. 17, 2025, at his home in Waynesboro, Va., with his caring wife Sandra by his side. He was born April 3, 1933, in Winslow, where he later raised a family with his predeceased first wife, Patricia.
He was a student of Winslow Schools and joined the Navy to serve in the Korean War. He retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Centers after years of service.
Cliff is survived by his wife Sandra ; children, Clifton III (Skip) of Charlottesville, Va.; Sherri Corbin of Eustis; Mark and his wife Sheryl of Hollis; Doraine of Charlottesville, Va., and many grand and great-grandchildren.
He had a lifelong belief in his savior.
