Titus Washington, Ollie Wright and Nathan Messer scored goals as the Portland Hearts of Pine beat Westchester SC, 3-2, in a USL League One game on Sunday in Mount Vernon, New York.
Portland improves to 5-9-4 and is in 10th place in USL League One. The Hearts of Pine are tied with Union Omaha and Greenville Triumph SC with 24 points, but Union Omaha has seven wins and holds the eighth and final playoff spot.
Westchester took a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute on a goal by Ermin Mackic. Washington tied it in the 26th minute and Wright gave Portland the lead about 10 minutes later.
Messer added an insurance goal in the 43rd minute.
Prince Saydee scored in the 45th minute for Westchester.
