To remain silent while witnessing the horror in Gaza is to be complicit in Israel’s taking retribution for the Oct. 7, 2023 attack by starving innocent children.

It is time for our Maine representatives in the House and Senate and minority leaders Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries to speak out against the withholding of food and the agonizing death it’s exacting on the babies and youth of Gaza; their eyes peer out at us from emaciated faces, their withered bodies shake from labored breathing.

Stop funding Israel until this death grip ends.
