Julia Quagliaroli’s double-overtime goal lifted Lisbon to a 2-1 victory over Oak Hill in a Mountain Valley Conference field hockey contest Wednesday in Wales.

Sutton Sloan opened the scoring with a second-quarter goal for the Raiders (0-3) that was set up by Grace Behne and Olivia French.

The Greyhounds (2-0-1) tied the game on Melanie Simmons’ unassisted goal in the third.

Both goalies, Lisbon’s Sophia Cote and Oak Hill’s Ella Martin, finished with nine saves.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 4, HALL-DALE/MONMOUTH 3: Aisla Armandi scored a hat trick as the Phoenix (2-0) came back from a two-goal halftime deficit to top the Bulldogs (1-1-1) in Farmingdale.

Ava Davis caged the other goal for Spruce Mountain. Goalie Kyleigh Marcotte made five saves.

Hannah Rauch, Makayla Norton and Natalie James scored in the second quarter for Hall-Dale. Maia Cote stopped 18 shots.

GIRLS SOCCER

SKOWHEGAN 1, MT. BLUE 0: Lydia Herrick’s goal in the first half lifted the River Hawks (2-0) over the Cougars (0-2) in Skowhegan.

Goalie Natalie Cook earned the shutout by stopping eight shots, while Ava Davis made 13 saves for Mt. Blue.

MT. ABRAM 2, HALL-DALE 0: Lya Pepin netted both goals as the Roadrunners (2-1) blanked the Bulldogs (2-1) in Farmingdale.

Pepin’s first goal was set up by Jenna Osgood about 10 minutes into the game. She scored again three minutes into the second half on a one-time volley off a corner kick. Abby McCarty recorded the assist.

Mt. Abram goalie Edna Bilodeau stopped all six shots she faced. Hall-Dale’s Genevieve Ciccarelli also made six saves.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 1, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Riley Smith netted a goal off a corner kick in the second half to give the Mustangs (2-0) a road win over the Phoenix (1-2) in Jay.

Monmouth goalie Lily Carlton made one save for the shutout, and Jayda McDonald stopped nine shots for Spruce Mountain.

WINTHROP 4, LISBON 0: Abby St. Clair’s three goals paced the Ramblers (2-1) to a Mountain Valley Conference victory over the Greyhounds (0-3) in Lisbon.

Harper Stasulis also scored for Winthrop.
