Natalie Irwin recorded a hat trick to lift Winthrop to an 8-3 win over Dirigo in a field hockey game Monday in Winthrop. 

Sophie Shuman and Evelyn Mortimer each added a pair of goals for the Ramblers (2-0). Piper Clark also scored. 

Dirigo fell to 1-2. 

HALL-DALE/MONMOUTH 1, BOOTHBAY 0: Abby Labonte scored in the second quarter, and the Bulldogs (3-1-1) beat the Seahawks (2-1) in Boothbay Harbor.

Natalie James had an assist. Mya Cote stopped nine shots for the shutout.

MESSALONSKEE 2, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Addie Hafford scored two first-half goals to lift the Eagles (4-0) past the Red Eddies (2-3) in Oakland.

Ruby Harris made 15 saves for Edward Little.

GARDINER 8, MORSE 1: Avry MacMaster, Zoey Sullivan-Brennan, Davyn Swindells and Brynlea Chaisson all scored twice as the Tigers (1-2) beat the Shipbuilders (1-3) in Gardiner.

Macy Hickey and Chaisson each had an assist.

Liv Drewniak scored for Morse, assisted by Laura Kelly.

BOYS SOCCER

MT. ABRAM 5, RICHMOND 0: Jamie Hering and Killian Pillsbury both scored twice as the Roadrunners (1-1) beat the Bobcats (1-1-1) in Salem.

Will Swain also scored and Brennan Mitchelll had two assists. Hering, Chase Ross and Pillsbury each were credited with an assist, and Ben Beaulier made two saves for the shutout.

Richmond keeper David Edwards stopped five shots.
