
Charlotte Libby scored twice in a four-goal second half as Skowhegan pulled away for a 5-0 win over Waterville in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls soccer match Wednesday in Skowhegan.
Madi Flannery contributed a goal and an assist, and Lydia Herrick and Mae Dubois also scored. Vivian Hart, Lauryn Moore and Mya Robinson each were credited with an assist.
Skowhegan is 6-0.
Roselyn Martin made 10 saves for Waterville (2-4).
CONY 2, LEAVITT 2: Annah Rothe scored off a corner kick by Reese Bilodeau with about 4 minutes remaining in regulation as Leavitt rallied to earn a draw against Cony in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls soccer match Wednesday in Turner.
Bilodeau scored the only goal of the first half, unassisted. Cony (1-3-1) then took the lead in the second half on a pair of goals by Rylan Miller, one of which was assisted by Kelsie Huard.
Hailey Welch of Leavitt (1-4-1) stopped five shots. Cony keeper Ayla St. Onge made six saves.
BOYS SOCCER
LEAVITT 2, CONY 1: A goal by Tyler Mates with 5:07 remaining lifted the Hornets (4-2) over the Rams (2-3) in Augusta.
All the scoring was in the second half. Leavitt’s Serogzha Bezhenar struck first at 15:30, lofting the ball over the head of Cony keeper Filip Graham. Joe Knapp tied it about seven minutes later after a long ball by Graham.
Jacob Gibbs assisted on the winning goal.
FIELD HOCKEY
CONY 10, OCEANSIDE 0: Helen Dineen, Gabriella Vachon and Kennedy Dube each netted a hat trick for the Rams (3-3) in a win over the Mariners (0-7) in Augusta.
Casey Monson recorded a goal and three assists. Dineen, Dube, Izabella Cerrato and Caelyn Lebel each had an assist.
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 5, OAK HILL 0: Ava Davis scored three goals to pace the Phoenix (6-1) past the Raiders (0-7) in Jay.
Alaina Kachnovich contributed two goals and an assist, while Linda Lake added two assists and Adell Pease set up one goal.
